While playing Division I basketball for Lehigh University, Teniece Divya underwent one ACL reconstruction, two additional scopes on the same knee, and surgery on both shins to alleviate Bilateral Compartment Syndrome that was causing numbness from the shins down.  But she never quit - each year spending time rehabilitating, working her way back into the lineup, serving as an instrumental part of the team’s enthusiasm and defensive ability.

Upon the completion of her tenure at Lehigh University she possessed a degree in Marketing and a Masters in Sociology, but could not walk without pain. 

Today she runs, jumps, & high kicks with joy and founded Fire&Finesse Fitness to share that empowerment with others.

An experienced teacher, trainer, coach and student, Teniece Divya has experience motivating and engaging children, adults, experienced athletes to beginners, and those recovering from injury. She has training and experience in weight lifting, TRX, core/abs, kettle bell, spin, strength training, cardio, agility drill, plyometrics, HIIT, Vinyasa Yoga, Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga, PIYO, Meditation, and Mixed Martial Arts.

Encouraging and tenacious, with a focus on full breath utilization, form and function, Teniece aims to educate athletes how to look at their mind, body awareness with a fresh perspective and inspiration for perspiration. As the strengthening of the mind and body though physical activity, at every age, and every fitness level is essential to living a healthy, happy life, motivated by love.
